Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Member of the Board of Directors - CEO - Head of the Digital Transformation Committee of Petrolimex, Đào Nam Hải, shared: “The corporation has deployed and used the eOffice electronic office system throughout the Corporation and its subsidiaries since 2016, but the effectiveness was still limited. Recently, the Corporation has collaborated with partners to complete and upgrade eOffice to D-Office - a digital/paperless office, which has now been completed and officially operated on mobile devices. The initial results will serve as a basis for us to continue developing features, utilities, and expanding the application scope in the future.” To make D-Office a true digital office, the CEO requested the Digital Office Implementation Team and partners continue to meet the directions, goals, and main requirements such as:

Direction: D-Office must focus on Petrolimex's employees; create a digital working environment, and contribute to building a digital culture and people.

Goals: Standardize all working processes at the Corporation's Office and its subsidiaries; deploy, manage, operate, and support usage uniformly on a common digital platform of the Corporation.

Requirements: D-Office helps employees receive and solve tasks in a digital environment anytime, anywhere; saves time, effort, and costs; increases productivity and efficiency in business management; creates a professional collaborative working environment, with close coordination, connectivity, uniformity, and consistency from employees to departments, divisions, units, and the Corporation according to standardized and unified processes.

Based on the goals and requirements set with a spirit of decisive and urgent implementation, the CEO requested:

Firstly, all delegates attending the Go Live Digital Office application program should listen to the initial results from the experts who directly designed the eOffice system, adjusted, and upgraded it to D-Office according to the Corporation's requirements, highlighting new features, utilities, and versions added on mobile devices. Secondly, after the Go Live ceremony, all delegates attending the conference should install the Petrolimex D-Office app, evaluate, and give feedback so that the Digital Office Implementation Team and partners can absorb and complete new features and utilities as soon as possible; continue close and decisive collaboration to complete the Digital Office with more smart utilities. Thirdly, the Board of Directors of the Corporation/Leaders of the Corporation’s Departments/Chairpersons, CEOs, Directors, Heads of the Digital Transformation Committees at the subsidiaries should pay attention, direct decisively, and lead by example in using D-Office to promote changing old habits, forming new habits, new thinking, being proactive, dynamic, and creative; help create a digital environment, digital culture, and digital people at each unit/field they are assigned to be responsible for.

Following the CEO's directives, Deputy CEO Nguyễn Ngọc Tú, on behalf of the Digital Office Implementation Team, committed to closely follow the goals and requirements set with key implementation focuses such as:

  • The Digital Office application will be further disseminated to all departments and individuals at the units so that everyone can understand and recognize the same viewpoints, visions, goals, requirements, tasks, and solutions;
  • The Digital Office application must be maximally used in all stages from document management, human resource management, file management, payment requests, etc., towards comprehensive digitization of office processes and utilities based on 4.0 technology;
  • The Digital Office application must regularly improve processes, update new, versatile, accessible, user-friendly features with high utility to provide a different user experience, thereby enhancing work efficiency, data management, and information management;

The Deputy CEO - Head of the Corporation's Digital Office Implementation Team requested the heads of the subsidiaries, who are also the heads of the digital transformation implementation teams, continue to direct their units to research, build, provide feedback, and propose to complete the Digital Office application suitable to the practical situation at the units, contributing to the Corporation's overall digital transformation strategy.
